About

Library lady and Information Wizard, enjoys sunshine, train journeys and parks. Has an irrepressible fondness for France.

All-empowering, all-knowing, forward thinking, technologically-savvy information professional, with an interest in social media, information literacy, and the digital divide.
Has worked in both public and academic libraries; in both circulation and acquisitions, now working in careers information in HE.

I intended to set up a blog to document my experiences during my stay in Acquisitions & Metadata, however, reflective practice does not come naturally to me, and I didn’t seem to have anything to write.

Now though, I will be using it to document and reflect on my participation in the 23 Things for Professional Development programme this summer.

The title of the blog comes from one of my favourite novels, If Nobody Speaks of Remarkable Things, by Jon McGregor, but somebody had already taken just ‘Remarkable Things’!

Master of @LEScareers Twitter and Facebook.
